Can anyone recommend a company?

If they do a range of paper weights - which one have you found best?

Looking for cards of moderate or low end price but not really cheap looking. Probably no artwork at this stage.

I got mine from vistaprint and wasn't that impressed. It was the cheap option but the print quality was poor and they went too near the edge. When I mentioned it too them they offered to re-print or refund so I asked for a refund but never heard back. Might have been unlucky.

Moo's new 'Luxe' cards are nice, for a wider choice of finishes at a good price I'd say FullColourCards.co.uk

Moo.com

That's really the best choice. If you don't have a design their Luxe cards are great too

Vista print are cheap but poor quality not what you want to create the right image. Goodprint are very good, don't order a large quantity as they will send you discount offers later

Highly recommend SoloPress. Go for the Spot UV varnish. Don't cheap out on your business cards. If someone gives me an obviously cheap card the first impression I have of them and their business is that they cut corners and/or don't pay attention to small details.

... or that they don't see the need to spuff loads of money away on needless frippery...
