My lad worked out you could buy a real one for similar money
I had to point out that the chances of the Flux Capacitor being in a usable condition for that price was pretty remote though.
Isn't there a chap with a warehouse somewhere that bought up all the bits when DeLorean went under.
I'm sure I saw a documentary which reckoned he'd build you a new one?
Does anyone know the story of the man behind DeLorean? I can't believe it hasn't been made into a Wolf of Wallstreet type biopic.
But yeah, as much as I'd like that model, the quick mental mathematics that I did made me choke on my corn flakes.
De Loreans story is pretty epic iirc.
The chap with the warehouse is out in the states, and yeah, they could build a fair few new ones and IIRC do, for 6 figure sums... so not much more than this model. No flux capacitors or flight though 🙁
