[Closed] Broken Bed

This cud have been Nasty.

Me and partner go up stairs to have bit of private time ,get into her bed,loud creaking noise from below us,then "CRACK " and the mattress sinks below bed frame, i try to climb out, succeed 2nd attempt,attempt to rescue her ,louder "crack" she's now on floor level ,have to lift her out of bed frame,both laughing our heads off.

When we stopped laughing and falling about ,lift up mattress to reveal centre beam broken in half.

MORAL OF THE STORY
IKEA BEDS don't use strong wood.

Trip down too focus and a new centre beam fashioned out of peace of 1" by 4" n some new screws.

A good night followed
