Ive just put some Fernox DS-40 Descaler and Cleanser in the system along with a magnetic filter on the return line to the boiler.
Will run the system for a week or two, then drain, clean the filter and refill. All in appx £90, did everything else myself
BG,And you also need a air vent into the attic loft space, as you have double glazing, and no trickle vents, you may well suffocate otherwise.
