Seems that yesterday was the day of celebration around the country for leaving the EU, according to one Tory peer; I must have overslept and missed it…

Well I certainly celebrated as befits all the freedoms we now have and stuff I can do now that I couldn't before. Such as

oh.....
ummm....
give me a minute....
I'm sure there was something....

Thank god someone stamped down on the madness of being able to take a sausage to the mainland.

As an fair minded Remainer I am perfectly willing to celebrate any real, tangible and widespread benefits of Brexit.

The champagne is on ice. Just waiting for someone to find me something to celebrate...

being able to take a sausage to the mainland.

If that's not a euphemism then it bloody well should be.

Same.  Happy to be proved wrong.  In fact I'd be delighted as it means that we have in fact not shot ourselves repeatedly in the nether regions.

Edited to be less grumpy 🙂

Perhaps one day you may have the opportunity to drink some stale Champagne.

Prolly suffocate before then though.

I came to this thread  hoping someone came to tell us that the royal family, peerages, etc had all been eradicated and the millions of acres of land stolen from the masses and given to arse kissers and mates of royals passed back to public ownership.

Hmmm...

Given that the good old British public will most often vote to tug their forelock and further legitimise the status quo (especially if there's an element of xenophobia thrown into the campaign), you've come to the wrong place.

Brindependence day?
