Anyone able to recommend anywhere good to watch the Wales game on Saturday in Brighton? A favour for an exile for the day!

I know there's a Walkabout, but surely there has to be a better, more genuine rugby pub somewhere around Brighton.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Cue list of campest pubs in Brighton lads!

p.s... good place might be behind the sofa if you're English!

I wouldn't bother, it is looking quite poor for the weekend. May I suggest you stay away from any Welsh pubs!

A - I'm a Welshman, so I'm looking forward to it with great relish!
B - I'm not going to be in Brighton, it's a favour for a friend to try and find a good pub for him (also a Welshman!)

I am still trying to get a ticket for the game - missed out through one avenue at work.

Am now going to try another, having overhead a couple of bosses discussing it:

Boss 1: "I don't like Rugby, it's boring"

Boss 2: "It's toow slow, and I can't understand what's going on"

Not only do I have to reside in The North (tm) with all its inherent whinging and coal-in-the-bath-my-life's-harder-than-yours nonsense, but they're all philistines up here, too.

good pub with telly does not compute!

pubs should be telly free!

but....if you are prepared to go west a little out of brighton the Stanley arms is great and has ace beer....and tv.

the bugle off the upper lewes road.

free half time kebabs when showing 6 nations matches and decent guinness.

what more do you want?

It will probably be shown on the Pier, which means there's a good chance for some Fish and Chip tomfoolery at half time.
