I have been known to mutter the phrase between ragged breaths, but I never realised that it could be true. Have I been suffocating my ring piece with a chamois for all of these years? Is the groove on my saddle actually to help with sphinctoral oxygenation?

Scientific study on breathing through your bum

Although it may help combat vaccine hessitancy if people know that being put on a ventilator could mean having a hoover shoved up your fundament and run in reverse. Maybe this is what Dyson was up to after all. And it gives all of those "hoovering in the nude" A&E cases a plausible get out too.

Yes but it is the breathing in part that is difficult.

Hmm. One of the issues that report mentions with mechanical ventilators is that "they can also cause lung damage because of the strong pressure they exert".

Which makes one wonder, somewhat, about the alternative being proposed here.

"When the researchers abraded the intestinal lining with a brush and then introduced oxygen gas, most of the animals survived for at least 50 minutes"

... any takers?

But think how clean it would be. People pay lots of money to have coffee and god knows what else hosed up there, a bit of gentle loofah action courtesy of a pretty nurse and the NHS sounds like good VFM.

Hmm this gives me an idea to help with some of the long phrases I struggle with on the oboe.

No breathing, but I have been told I can speak out of it.

Given this mornings toilet efforts a pipe cleaner wouldn't even touch the sides. I was quietly proud afterwards (during was anything but quiet).

Maybe not so much breathing from it, but I seem to exhale a lot.

That is quite the sales pitch.
