Fruit with lots of ice cream but I guess that defeats the object.

So try strawberry, banana and apple with natural yogurt and ice.

Ice, papaya and orange juice - a hint of sugar to thicken - nothing better...

can't go wrong with apple, frozen banana, coconut milk (or natural yoghurt), peanut butter & a cheeky squirt of agave nectar.

It's the foodstuff of the gods!

2tbs of fromage frais, 150ml skimmed milk, a banana, frozen blueberries (or any berries) and a tablespoon of alpen for added thickness/texture (blends better than you'd think).

Or instead of the alpen I'll sometimes add some vanilla protein powder.

I use my blender loads. Always use the basics of fromage frais and skimmed milk, and then it's trial and error after that. Never made anything horrible though and usually my ingredients depend on what is in the reduced section of the supermarket. Most fruits freeze well and can be blended from frozen so get teh out of date stuff!

Buy manky bananas from your green grocers. Normally dirt cheap and you can freeze them.
I do 2 nanas,1 pear and a hand full of berries. Or 2 nanas ,hand full of berries, yoghurt and hand full of porridge.

You'll pull a face at this suggestion ... but my advice is just "try it".

Spinach Shake

1 scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein
3 cups spinach
½ banana
2 Tbsp of natural peanut butter
2/3 cup of unsweetened almond milk
approximately 3 handfuls of ice

Give it a whirl. You can't taste the spinach ... but it's full of protein, iron and natural fats.

Unless you bought a Blendtec, I really don't think your blender is man enough for my recipes:

^^^ I'd love a Blendtec! Not cheap though. Although some bargains on the bay.

Too tall; what kind of Willy measuring competition is this?

My blenders better than yours? what are you blending; steel and concrete?

The OP asked for recipes not for inadequate fools to show off!

Op, may i present you my stuff;
Big handful of spinach.
1 Whole cooked beetroot (not pickled)
1 whole lemon.
2 Apples.
2 Pears.
Handful of blueberries.
1+ Banana.
Blend with water. Tastes foul but its good for yuh!

Don't be such a miserable bugger and look at the link will you? Or is humour not allowed on this serious topic?

I am a man who loves a gadget so it's a good job I didn't see the blendtec before I bought it or else 'er in doors wouldn't have been happy. Thanks for the recipes so far. The two spinach ones sound interesting as I quite like spinach. Just had a banana , apple and strawberry one with milk and a pinch of sugar to taste. Very nice.

Mango, banana, two oranges and a lime. Papaya optional.

Oh, btw, mangoes like bananas are sold really unripe, so you have to leave them on the windowsill for a week or two. They should deform when pressed, not be hard.

Made my legs cross just thinking about it. Was just thinking would a blendtec blend a bowl with day old hardened weetabix on it, hardest substance known to man 😆
