The first series was great but still haven't caught up with the second. The only issue is that it reminds Mrs CD that I should be learning Danish.

I was quite pleased because I thought it had finished last year, so the 4 recent episodes were an unexpected bonus 🙂

Assuming that I was the only person on here to watch this last Saturday?

Is it OK to confess to hair envy? 🙂

But happy with your green shoe collection? And Kasper's hair? wtf.

I watched it and enjoyed it as usual. Wondered if Gordon Brown has considered starting a new party! The new English boyfriend seemed it a bit weird. Wonders if there is a vacancy there;-)

Kasper? 😆 Was it a quiff or what? 😀

Agree about her new bf, creepy imo.

Great TV though. 8)

Took me a while to realise that the role of Kasper hadn't been taken by a different actor!

I didn't recognise Kasper at first either. As for the new boyfriend ...don't trust him Birgitte he used to live in a place called Glen Bogle 🙂

So ... someone's got to say it ... Kasper. 😯 What is going on? ❓

Deliberately not spoiling in case some haven't seen last night's episode yet.

I just wish that they would stop with the double episode pish. I have enough trouble coping with concentrating properly for an hour without having to double up.

Ha ha! *I think* I may have snoozed a little during the second episode. 😳

I can't see if its repeated anywhere, any ideas? Can't get iplayer as I'm in Ireland and can't record on BBC 4...again as I'm in Ireland?! Or does anyone know how to fool the sky or iplayer into letting me watch/record?

Kaspars hair - understand he has been doing some other filming which necessitated the original hair cuts. Seemed back to usual this weekend.

This might explain Kaspar's smaller part this time and Torben getting a bigger part as it were.

Birgitte.....if you look at her in profile...she has a kinda long, weird nose.

This series is much 'softer' than the previous two. I am missing the cut and thrust of the (political) struggles. Katrine is off her game this time round a bit too.

Torben's boss...a bit of a stereotype but entertaining nonetheless as a 'bad guy'.

To be fair....there's only so many stories you can tell and stopping now prevented it becoming stale.

More importantly, the Bridge is in January!

Forbrydelsen (The Killing), Broen (The Bridge), Borgen.... top entertainment.

@Kryton57 "The Bridge" is another exceptionally good Danish/Swedish crime thriller series.

Thought that was it for this one? I see the sceptics are doing a fourth season....

Thought the Bridge was ok,not sure the character's could run for another series, IMHO of course.

Both Borgen and The Killing were commissioned for 3 series only, so that is the end of that.

For those with to much time on there hands there has been a recap/blog/ comments on Borgen here:

Looking forward to The Bridge in January (4th I think).

Reminds me I have to sort out ur Scandinavia holiday for next summer. Want to cross The Bridge and probably have a look around Ystad. Without getting murdered in some dispicable way!

Borgen was excellent. Is there anywhere I can watch the first series of the bridge without buying a dvd or subscribing to pay tv?

Yes, focus on the future - The Bridge was the best of all the Scandi-noir stuff IMO and series 2 begins on 4th January. Saga Noren, one of the most fascinating heroines of our time: how often do you get a female autistic skillfully depicted in drama or fiction?

Cancel everything and watch!

The Bridge season 1 is being shown again on BBC4 starting 3.30am on 23/12.

Or a one month free trial of netflix (not sure if that counts as subscribing to paid tv))
