Going round a mates house soon to play some video games and have some beers 🙂 I'm having a good day so far, still buzzing from a really good interview I had earlier where the guy basically said I'd have the job so long as the last guy they interview doesn't have more experience than me!

Shortly off to bed with book and hot water bottle too. I hate it when Mr MC on lates and me earlies, we completely miss each other! boooooo 🙁

Also, seeing as I'm amongst virtual friends, I'm going to confide something along the same vein as kicking the water bottle out of bed. I wear pants in bed, don't know why, I just do but the last week I've been taking them off in my sleep then getting back into bed. Been caught taking them off three times now and woken up with them gone for the other four times. Normally find them at the side of the bed but this morning found them in the bathroom! I don't remember taking them off. Wonder if it's a stress thing. Had to get it off my chest thought, it's not really something I can discuss with RL people ! Anyone else done this or weird things in their sleep?

Emma82 yup he is! Oh and I can't open the wine as I am on call ALL weekend .... man what a rubbish weekend! I hope it's ddry tomorrow so I can at least go to bonfire night (pending work not being busy). Sigh sometimes this work thing really interferes with my social life!!

Bored out my nut...so I'm trying to do 'comedy' shaves with my facial hair...utterly bored out my nut...mainly due to me forgetting to charge my bike lights so can't go riding!

Ha ha Rachel is blushing love it!! If you have an iphone you could try that sleep talking app that everyone has been going on about it and listen back to it in the morning to see what gobbledook you talked about .. .oh and then share it on here so we can all have a good laugh and not be bored. I would but I don't have an iphone, not sure if there is similar app on Android market (oh and I'm too lazy to look!).

I can't sleep without pants on LG - I feel naked! Well, I am naked but it's weird I don't like it 🙄

Currently bored at work, finish in an hour so then home, wife, food, drink......a little us time then sleep.

I can't sleep naked when I'm in the bed on my own, but I think that's a temperature thing, ie it's blinking freezing in a King size bed on my own so the jimjamaroo's have to go on, Mr MC gets home warms the bed up jimjam's come off! weird us women hey!!!!

Know exactly what you mean about the feel naked thing - it's difficult to explain but 'before' it never used to bother me and was the default option but in the last two years I always wear PJs*.

*well, assuming I'm there to sleep, you understand...

Bored too.

Busted up my ankle, so not been out on my bike for over 3 weeks now so apart from hobble into work and home, I've done sod all recently. This evening, just to mock my lack of being able to do something useful my internet connection isn't fast enoughto play battlefield 3 online. So I am officially bored.

I might have crack open the beers at this rate and watch whatever passes for entertainment on the TV. 🙁

I'm that bored I'm off to bed now with my book! although I may shortly post from my mobile just to keep up on the current topic of whether or not you sleep in pants, PJ's or the buff!! Nos da STWers x

Much to my wifes and kids dismay i sleep only in pants/boxers, i also get up in them and wander round in them early doors making brekkie n coffee.

Mr82 sleeps in the nude, he reckons he gets sweaty testicles otherwise. I tend to just wear pants though rather than PJs.

Im bored too stuck on a ship off the coast of Greenland was told 2 weeks when i flew out on Tuesday but here's the but looks like im gonna be here a month and only got about 20hrs worth of work as we get to each site that needs surveying so the rest of the time its sit around go gym then sit around watch a movie and sit around some more. The worst part is id only been home 2 days the Sunday and Monday as i was working on another project kinda starting to miss my other half a lot now 🙁 just hope i'm home this Christmas and new year

I am watching Subo whilst simultaneously drinking beer and trying to figure out a PLC program on the laptop. leave for work at 5.30 on the bike so should probably go to bed

thank god for pjs and single clients cabin to myself there is plus side to this job im on the ship is brand new and with tinternet that is dare i say faster than most broadbands look up siem aquamarine tis a nice ship but i do miss home and im bored

ive missed so many christmases over the years its shocking firstly when i was in the forces missed most of them and now working back off shore its caneing them badly

If my missus doesnt wear her pants to bed she always dreams she is naked in a street and everyone is pointing and staring 😆

Jacking off

Both Me and Mrs V used to sleep 'wi nowt on' in the eraly days of marriage,(ah sigh) but getting up to the kids etc the Mrs has defaulted to PJ's or a nightshirty type thing (ie big T shirt). Me, I still dont like PJ's when I wear them, if the eldest has mates stopping over, then they feel too restrictive, just like Mr82.

But I can't be walking round with the 'old man hanging out' with 16 yr old girls in the house. 😳

lol aka, my dad used to be a naked sleeper when i was younger until i hit teenage hood and caught him going to the loo 🙂 Funny.

tis nice one of the best ships of been on for a fair while gotta flat screen tv in the room but no channels 🙄 have to hook the net book to it to watch films the foods ok but its hit or miss at meal times beats working in the bike shop i suppose even though i did get time at home and wasn't as bored at the bike shop

as to sleeping naked i don't think iv'e ever been able to do it even after a quite night in with Mrs ck PJ's back on

Re the hot water bottle, I've still got the windows open in mid Scotland and am warm at night, to anyone using hot water bottles while it's still so mild, what are you going to use when it gets seriously cold?????

i was an aircraft engineer but just over a year ago got offered a small engineering and evironmental sciences tech role with Benthic solutions since then iv'e been doing Geochem, evironmetal surveys among other things as well as 3D seismic and inshore and offshore projects seems my boss is trying to find my limits so far the only part i hate is MMO'ing marine mammal observing is very taxing though bordem.

Just seems the more i do the more boss wants me to do im not gonna complain about that as its nice doing loads of differn't roles on some of the projects and when i am back at the office its nice as i built the office and decking area 😆

too the the lad above i wish it was that warm here got -15 degrees wish i had a bottle of wine i mean hot water bottle 😆

I did have a little one in a bag shaped like a cow that was good for my feet cuz it was small. tempted to get tigger out just for the novelty. tis oddly warm for this time of year though

Mrs V has invested in a double leccy blanket for our bed, not too sure about it as we live in a modern 4 bed house, but it takes the chill away apprently.

We do have novelty hot water bottles for the mother in laws static caravan though. Kids love em when it's cold.

On the rare occasions Mrs Gilo and I go out for a meal without the kids she usually orders a pint and I order a bottle of wine. Confuses the waiters / waitresses no end..

I can't sleep with pants on either. They've got to come off.

Causes problems when I'm not staying at home, like if I'm in a chalet shared with others at a popular New Forest based mountain biking, beer and music festival what takes place in August. 😳

Used to fall asleep on a big sofa in front of the telly in the living room of a shared place I lived in a few years ago. My flatmates weren't happy to find my pants on the living room floor in the morning. Did give one of the lasses a fright one night when she came in late from work one night. 😀

I live on my own now. It's probbly for the best.

know the feeling, mrs went to Barcelona with her best mate so had a few nights alone here. Been decorating the oounge most evenings to keep myslef occupied but it's finished now and want to relax on the sofa... but would've like to have gone riding if I had charged my lights up!

I entered the local council's garden competition this summer and I won second prize in my area and tonight I took my daughter along to the prize giving event.

We both enjoyed ourselves 🙂

A cheque for 25 pounds, a mini plaque thing and a DVD containing all of the little videos showing the other winners' gardens. It was hosted over in the Burgh Halls in Linlithgow 🙂

Unfortunately my wife could not be with me, but I had my eldest daughter with me and it was a good do (first time out on a Friday for ages as well, shame I was driving, bah! 😉 )

I was unsure whether or not she would like to come along with me (she is 12 years old), but when my wife broached the subject to her she agreed straight away 🙂

She has always been a Daddy's girl and I think that something like this evening reinforces it PLUS I was quite chuffed to have her come along with me.
