Is there sufficient quality when playing over Bluetooth to consider spending more on a receiver? I'm thinking £50 v £10. I'll be plugging into the analogue aux audio into an existing system.

Not really but the range will be better.
Asda do one at £12 which works great or the slightly bigger one at £20'ish

I had really cheap ones that were a bit crap - poor quality output and poor range. There has to be a DAC in there to drive the analogue output from the digital signal, and an amp and so on...so I guess quality can vary.

Anyhow, I was given a nokia MD-310, and it's ace. No idea if they still make them though, but if it broke I'd try and buy another.
