Garlic is ace to ride through, it's even better when you've picked a carrier bag full and stuffed them in your freezer, lovely in salads and a more delicate flavour than shop bought bulbs ๐Ÿ˜€

I always find the garlic leaves rather slippy when riding over them.

Yeah noticed them the other week starting, love the wild Garlic smell reminds me of my childhood we'd spend ages in the woods as kids and this time of year we'd come home stinking of it.

Was sharing your joy a few weeks ago down south. The bluebells are pretty much over now, whilst the garlic is getting better and better. It's a good year for the garlic!!

The wild garlic was out in Hawthorn Dene near Peterlee about a month ago ๐Ÿ™‚ I love the smell of the stuff - really reminds me of being a kid.

PSA

Wild Garlic Pesto w/ chili

200g Wild garlic leaves (washed + dried)
50 - 80g chopped red chilies (seeds in unless you are a feeble wuss) ๐Ÿ˜‰
2tsp salt
200-250 ml rapeseed oil

blend like a mother ****er

You will thank me. A flavoursome and spicey sauce that enhances... Everything!

Its great on BBQ lamb, toss chicken in it for a wrap, toss pasta in it. Spread it bread and make a cheese sandwich...
