Too efficient

what a horrible morning. up at 0700 to take my poorly van in for a new water pump
20 miles to van centre so mrs T. seconded on pick up duties very un willing.
1hour 20 mins to get there. drop van and 2hours 30mins to crawl back having cop of coffee. and phone rings ,
It's the garage. so thinking the worst I answer. Ha it ready for collection. full service and new water pump

Now the SO. is refusing to take me back to collect it saying get on your bike

now that would be ok if it was not right across Bradford with no easy back roads to take
and don't fancy getting mashed on the main roads .

If I had waited at the garage. it would have taken all day I bet.

So you had the same level of service as an independant garage but you paid twice as much?

My usual independent cant do the water pump on a T5 2.5 as it needs a special tool My mate tried that when his went and it ended up at the VW garage anyways .
so was advised to go straight to main dealer for less down time .

Service and waterpump and bill is £300 plus vat .
