the guy i'm sat next to used to fit christmas lights to tower cranes when he was an apprentice. no harness and in winter.

all in the mind....no different than doing pulls ups at ground level, just a faith in grip.

Of course when it goes wrong we can be thankful someone there to rescue you...........

It is different, it's not at ground level. That's teh difference, and thats what makes your toes curl!

You know it's amazing what you can stomach to watch when you know it's not real, but actually seeing a real person die is not fun (I'm assuming they did NOT survive that). Give us a heads up next time, eh?

Yeah, whatever. If I manage a couple of pull ups (on a strong day!) I drop a few inches to the floor. I don't have to climb back up on top of the pull up bar

They were both quite badly hurt though with broken bones but did survive according to the commentary.
Still car crash viewing though.

Yeh, but the thing is that the guy is blatently very s*it at pull ups. He is struggling like mad on about 3 or 4. Lunatic!
