as above really....got a chance of a new BB cheap but i use google calender with some of my colleagues for work, will it be compatible as i see they (google) removed the synch app..? is there a BIS equivalent to make it synch?

Not sure if it would work for you, but I have my Gmail calender (personal) sync with my Outlook calender (work) on my desktop. My BB syncs with the desktop - so effectively I get the gmail entries on an outlook calender (format) through the BB.
However if you use gmail to view your colleagues calenders as well then this wouldn't be the answer for you 😕
