Anyone go? I went and ended up at the front - loved every minute of it but I think I was swept away with the night so - anyone have any objective opinions on how good they were?

Ohh and I saw ozzy/Sharon leaving our hotel ๐Ÿ™‚

So, you enjoyed it, but not sure if you should have done?

Middle class angst summed up beautifully..

Write into the guardian and see what they think.

Would have liked to have gone. I've seen them with Ozzy, Dio & Ian Gillian over the years. Couple of vids posted up on youtube show Ozzy's voice to be really quite good!
Shame they can't sort out their mate Bill to play with 'em
(bet it's Sharons doing!)

Gonna look on YouTube tonight - currently in a hotel with shonky 3G.

I have seen Ozzy in the past but this is my first ever Sabbath gig - really chuffed to have got tickets. It was a great atmosphere before/after in pubs too - almost footie style.

Yep and he was somewhat fatter but still sang fantastically well for 2 and a half hours.

I'm not fussed about the other band members, it's the singer that makes a band for me.
Although the other guys were quite fit ๐Ÿ˜†

Last nights gig was great,I was right at the front centre of stage, sore ribs today after enduring the barrier though. Next is download in a few weeks, can't be better than last night.

Saleem - at the Sabbath gig? Are you about 6ft 14inches? If so I was directly behind you, centre front, one row behind the barrier.

Casn't spare the time and cash for Sabbath this year - glad I saw the Heaven and Hell line up last year before Dio went to one or the other

I wanted to go to Download but it's my girls' birthday party that day and they come first.

No I'm not that tall, aching though and bruised with barrier markings, seemingly I kept saying to the mrs that some big ******* behind me was almost penetrating me. I ended up in that curry house that I recommended to you, very nice it was.

It was Tony on guitar, sadly no Bill on drums. Geezer on bass and of course Ozzy - grinning like a loon throughout.

Don't know who was on drums but he was okay - seemed to keep it together but must have been odd, being a young bloke filling in for a metal legend.

Great to hear that Tony is fit enough to play.

Tommy Clufetos on drums who plays drums for Ozzy, Bill is said to have made Crazy contract demands, hence being replaced.
