Had a hot water bottle for a few weeks now, seriously thinking about putting the electric blanket on

We've been using a 4 Tog duvet for the summer. Not upgraded back to 10 Tog yet...

Wife has announced that the 10 tog will be on tonight.
Who am I to argue?

Put ours back on at the weekend, but I have been decorating so all the windows are open 24/7.

On the plus side the cats have stopped moulting, so a lot less hair everywhere!

My bedroom is above an archway/carport type thing so I don't have any heat rising from underneath, and as such it always feels like a bloody fridge in the winter ๐Ÿ™ Luckily we're moving in a couple of months so will hopefully have something warmer when proper winter hits!

Goose down duvet for us. Never comes off, doesn't get too hot, always warm enough. Love it.

Whenever we go on holiday they have the flimsiest man made fibre duvets thin as a blanket but hot sweaty and urgh.

Goose down duvet for us

Same here.

But not yet onto the winter thickness one, still using the wafer thin summer job.

Well I went to replace our summer one with the thicker one (the two clip together to make a winter one) and found we'd never actually moved to the summer one & it's not quite warm enough for the winter double up. DOH!
