Looking for a tablet that is sub £150.

Requirements are fairly simple;
Micro SD slot
8ish hours battery life
Wifi
Android
A way of connecting it to the TV/Monitor
Needs to be new

The tablet market seems an absolute minefield. I don't have a clue what is any good. It seems impossible to test half the products on offer so I don't know if any are laggy or what the finish is like. Reviews seem biased and contradictory.

On the list currently:
Tesco Hudl 2
Samsung galaxy tab 4

Any suggestions or dicussions welcome!

Hudl 2 got a rave review on the Wired magazine podcast.

I have a hudl2. Im well impressed with it.

Watched a film on it in bed last night - was blown away by the speaker quality and volume!

Wouldn't touch a Samsung with binners'

Half price if you buy it with Clubcard vouchers.

+1. Seriously, this question has been asked like once a week for about two years. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:singletrackworld.com+hudl2

I really like my Hudl 2, but it will not give you 8 hours battery life.
