Kings Arms for good quality home style food. Not sure if they’ll do any on Xmas eve though.

Does it have to be in Reeth or near Reeth? I've had really good food at the Bridge Inn in Grinton (opposite Dales Bike Centre), the Punch Bowl at Feetham and (probably too far out) Keld Lodge.

I've eaten at the Bridge inn at Grinton a few times and the food has always been great. Yes it's not technically Reeth, but let's not split hairs.

Not Reeth specifically, within walking distance, maybe an hour or two would do. Thanks for the suggestions

Punch bowl/CB for posh slightly pretentious food.

Burgoyne if you want very posh (for Reeth)

Black bull wasn’t too bad last time I was in and beer is better (used to be awful)

kings arms is ok but staff and landlady are wierd and the landlord ran my cat over.

Bridge used to be ok but not had food there for years

(Reeth dweller)

We had a meal at the CB a couple of weeks ago, the Hake was excellent! The best meal out I've had for quite a long while.
