We have found a VW T5 we really want to buy but unfortunatley its a private sale so no part ex.

Where would you recommend trying to sell our car reasonably quickly (not webuyanycar) ??

So far Ive advertised on here and gumtree.

Autotrader, eBay, try your local car dealer ( often buy cars for cash ) pistonheads.com

I sold my 3.5 year old car to a local car dealer. I got £400 more than the main dealer offered. About £500 more than we buy any car. He bought it on the spot. He said that there was a real shortage of good cars to sell as main dealers seem to get them all.

Have a look around at dealers that sell similar cars to yours.

What is it and what do you want for it?

My last 2 cars sold quickly through pistonheads but ebay is good too.

Its quite new, so you'll struggle to get a good price, quickly, unless you're lucky.

There are over 40 just on ebay, with 2010's starting at £7k.

7k!!!! Christ I paid £13.5k this time last year and was hoping to get £10k for it now!
