Basically don't mind about prints etc just real thick/oversized for winter use. Contrary to popular belief TKMaxx aint cheap!
i normally buy the Fat Face jumpers in the sale.
Primark/tesco/asda if you want cheep
Terrible quality and shape but toasty
Woolovers. Online only and not dead cheap but fantastic quality for the price
Some decent cheap stuff can be had from Edinburgh Woolen Mill.
Car boot sale, usually loads of them
I got a couple of brand new ones a week or so back for £2 each

Uniqlo's a good call. I'm popping down to EDWoolmill outlet here in Manchester. Seems a shame to ruin good jumpers for boot/car/post-bike and around the house.
