Not a stealth ad, but we’ve recently done a bit of modernising in the living room and have an old micro hifi, HD ready tv and Xbox 360 with a fistful if games which are surplus to requirement. All several years old and not worth a lot (if anything!).

I can’t really be bummed with eBay as posting old Xbox games about will prob cost more on postage than the game! I’ve also not got any of the original boxes for the larger stuff.

Charity shops won’t touch them as they’re electrical. Take them to cash converters or CEX?

Tip?

Car boot sale?

Any ideas!? Thanks

If you are near Bradford I would potentially buy your xbox games... of course that's only if it was an add 🙂

Charity shops will take them if they have a PAT tester.

Ebay is a PITA as is Gumtree, I wholeheartedly agree there. Easiest option is a 99p start and sell the XBox as a job lot. Either that or someone here will take the stuff (would also be potentially interested in games though)

Stick them on Facebook Marketplace for free? Sure someone nearby will collect.

Pfft, they'll want you to deliver and install it, and bad mouth you when it stops working 🙄

I'd probably try CEX, not least of all because they're up front about what rate they'll buy and sell things for.

You could, of course, use their website to get an idea of value and stick an ad in the classifieds here. I too might be interested in a 360 game or two depending what you've got.

I've had a pretty good run with Facebook classifieds, loads of timewasters but when sales happen they've been pain free
