Who was there on Fri or Sat? Where did you park and how easy was it to get ti / from the gig?

I'm going tonight too, can't wait! After rain and however many thousand people is Heaton park now a bog? Trainers or wellys?
we went last night, they haven't lost it ...did they ever really have it? 😕
train to mancland, then taxi to park entrance. roads were suprisingly quiet, but we were there pretty early (1600 at the park). different story on the way home!

worth knowing the Roses come on just after 9, so if you don't fancy the warm up acts or want a spot near the front there is no need get in early. queue for drinks takes ages in there too.
agree with wellies, it was pretty slimy underfoot.
Also going tonight, hiking boots me thinks, Wellies are just plain uncomfortable for any length of time
