I've just discovered Trivago. Managed to find a nice hotel in London for next week. They have University and backpacker hostel rooms on their site.

I would avid anywhere in the east or north of the city at the moment!

do you need to be near the city or near the international airport? Ballyrobin Country Hotel is about level with the end of the runway and very reasonably priced. Restaurant smells like it does some really good food too.
