When footballer Danny Haynes played for Bristol City he had the following cringeworthy number plate on his obligatory range rover sport:

HE52 FLY

Arranged like this:

HE5 2 FLY

Hate to keep doing doing this, but that doesn't work either ๐Ÿ˜‰

Four letters in a row isn't possible.

(Hope some people on this thread never need to identify a vehicle reg in court ๐Ÿ˜€ )

ML (screw on bottom of L) W 15H?

Wonders off to check...

Edit, that plate does not exist, but MYW 15H is on a 2004 RR Phantom, but it's blue not white (doesn't mean it hasn't been wrapped though)

Cheers.

Yes. When I imported my German Van, I had to keep the original German pressed metal plates, with the correct font etc, until it was registered in the UK then change to our horrible plastic plates.

Retired minister round here had OLD 100, old Scottish hymn tune.
Plenty of cars (with road attachments) around with variations on R 5 PEY (River Spey)

And just seen in town - RSO4L. Not sure if that's intentional!

Also sure I've seen HE 4 RTS - to spell HEARTS - but that doesn't work. hm.

In the 80's I used to see a Porsche in Windsor with TUR13O and another car with SAM130 which we thought odd and offensive. There was also PPD 1 on a car which caused great amusement as there was someone who used to draw male bits all over town known as the Phantom Pr***k Drawer, not quite Banksy. Sadly I had XLV750R on my Honda motorbike as that what it was. A local plumber has PO0 2 BOG.

My dad had R3 for a few years. Bit of history to it - was originally the reg. of the 3rd car to be registered in Derbyshire, aparently.

The ones with a letter first are "originals"; any with the number first were made up by the DVLA in 19whenveritwas for vanity/money making purposes

Friend of mine has 80C and 8OC on his and his wifes cars.

Couple who race Huskies near here have DO57 EAM on their big van which with a very italicised plate says DOG TEAM. Inventive.

Fantastic! ๐Ÿ˜€

Saw an X5 in Banbury on Friday with N4KKA.

Edit - and a 911 with XX51DXX

Second edit - the 911 wasn't in Banbury on Friday, it was on the M40 northbound a week or two back.

Can remember years ago installing some financial software at Manchester Metro Uni and I heard a car pull up outside the window, a few floors below me. It was an awful Gold Nissan Skyline. Out popped a very smartly dressed asian fella about 4ft high he was, had a massive gold chain on his neck.

The woman who I was sat next too said he was the IT lecturer and local pillock and was a bit of a chav. On the way out she said "oh by the way, check out his reg plate, I bet you've never seen one like it and I guarantee he's never seen one!"

The reg was M1 NGE and I agree, i doubt he had ever seen one. ๐Ÿ˜†

I had a really dodgy plate back in 2003, it was cut around the numbers with an 11mm border and got me loads of attention by the Police...
