[Closed] Best number plate ever
I've seen HER81E On a VW Beetle.
A white rolls had 'M1 wish' on the m25 earlier
When footballer Danny Haynes played for Bristol City he had the following cringeworthy number plate on his obligatory range rover sport:
HE52 FLY
Arranged like this:
HE5 2 FLY
A white rolls had 'M1 wish' on the m25 earlier
Hate to keep doing doing this, but that doesn't work either ๐
Four letters in a row isn't possible.
(Hope some people on this thread never need to identify a vehicle reg in court ๐ )
ML (screw on bottom of L) W 15H?
Wonders off to check...
Edit, that plate does not exist, but MYW 15H is on a 2004 RR Phantom, but it's blue not white (doesn't mean it hasn't been wrapped though)
Cheers.
You're such a party-pooper, Neil.
On our e13 Tech Support van we have the plate E13 VAN.
The one that's getting me is AM I RICH, I have tried a few reg numbers like AM13 LCH, AM12 LCH etc & I'm drawing a blank, I can't think of anything DVLA would of issued that would read like that โ
?Do foreign registration strings have to be displayed with their native number plate appearances?
?Do foreign registration strings have to be displayed with their native number plate appearances?
Yes. When I imported my German Van, I had to keep the original German pressed metal plates, with the correct font etc, until it was registered in the UK then change to our horrible plastic plates.

spaced out to MAD 4 1T.
made me laugh.
P16PAD on my ex landlords car .He`s a pig farmer
Retired minister round here had OLD 100, old Scottish hymn tune.
Plenty of cars (with road attachments) around with variations on R 5 PEY (River Spey)
And just seen in town - RSO4L. Not sure if that's intentional!
Also sure I've seen HE 4 RTS - to spell HEARTS - but that doesn't work. hm.
BO55 CRC on a Nissan GTR parked up at a large warehouse in Doagh, Northern Ireland.
I've seen a H8 CRC driving about the greater Belfast area.
There's a car down my road with N80 EMA (enema. Made me chuckle...
Spotted yesterday riding through a village a couple of miles away - WH05 SLK
Presumably a smug more affluent person than me...
I saw a roller (rollsroyce) a few years ago with A1 SAY
say in a mock posh accent........
Spotted on the M40 the other night. Not one I'd have chosen!

Couple I've seen round Sheffield that I like:
R8 GUD on a volvo
Y 80DGE on a builder's van
I saw R8 YUM today on an Aston (I think) in Rutland.
I remember 38DD on a Porsche 944 back in the day. It's probably not hard to guess what the woman who drove it looked like....
Also sure I've seen HE 4 RTS - to spell HEARTS - but that doesn't work. hm.
H34RTS would work.
I've seen VA91 NAL near where I live in Manchester. Perhaps he/she is a gynecologist?
No you've not, that's not around for about 30 years! Nobby's VA61 NAL works though
Oh yeah! ๐ณ That must have been it then, I only saw it briefly
B6 used to be on a little pug round here, think its on a posh car now
A111HAD on a white Golf GTI convertable years ago carefull spaced to read "All I Had"
I saw this yesterday near Portsmouth: ELV 1S - "ELVIS".

I googled it afterwards and he is obviously not short of a bob or 1
Saw 1P the other day in Aberdeenshire.
Worth half a million apparently. Crazy
In the 80's I used to see a Porsche in Windsor with TUR13O and another car with SAM130 which we thought odd and offensive. There was also PPD 1 on a car which caused great amusement as there was someone who used to draw male bits all over town known as the Phantom Pr***k Drawer, not quite Banksy. Sadly I had XLV750R on my Honda motorbike as that what it was. A local plumber has PO0 2 BOG.
BOND 007 on a Smart car in London .
Oh and: on another black Range Rover hereabouts:
D1JDE becomes DUDE with some clever spacing. ๐
P16PAD on my ex landlords car .He`s a pig farmer
I used to have a customer who bred rare pigs for quality meats etc who had P16 LUV ๐
I spotted RUS51A on a BMW in Polperro on Saturday
There's an FB 1 in Scarborough. FBI agent or Mark Zuckerberg? (On a blacked out Porsche Cayenne)
My dad had R3 for a few years. Bit of history to it - was originally the reg. of the 3rd car to be registered in Derbyshire, aparently.
The ones with a letter first are "originals"; any with the number first were made up by the DVLA in 19whenveritwas for vanity/money making purposes
Friend of mine has 80C and 8OC on his and his wifes cars.
Couple who race Huskies near here have DO57 EAM on their big van which with a very italicised plate says DOG TEAM. Inventive.
Ooh and. Not on a car, but the light aircraft used at the skydiving/parachuting school my GF recently attended:
G-HTFU.
Wonder how many that's wasted on ๐
D34 NNC this morning - rearranged in a font/bolt-tastic way to read DEANNO
lol
This morning I overtook an Ibiza with the plate BA11 SAX
Fantastic! ๐
Saw an X5 in Banbury on Friday with N4KKA.
Edit - and a 911 with XX51DXX
Second edit - the 911 wasn't in Banbury on Friday, it was on the M40 northbound a week or two back.
I used to own S1 5AYS wish I'd kept it ๐
I saw a good one in Newcastle a couple of years ago emblazened on a Merc SLK which read PO54 GET (Posh Get). I was quite impressed and found it quite apt.
Red modified Supra with number plate F18 OMB.
Can remember years ago installing some financial software at Manchester Metro Uni and I heard a car pull up outside the window, a few floors below me. It was an awful Gold Nissan Skyline. Out popped a very smartly dressed asian fella about 4ft high he was, had a massive gold chain on his neck.
The woman who I was sat next too said he was the IT lecturer and local pillock and was a bit of a chav. On the way out she said "oh by the way, check out his reg plate, I bet you've never seen one like it and I guarantee he's never seen one!"
The reg was M1 NGE and I agree, i doubt he had ever seen one. ๐
I had a really dodgy plate back in 2003, it was cut around the numbers with an 11mm border and got me loads of attention by the Police...
Around 10 years ago there used to be a Scooby running about on a Friday and Sat night around the local town with the plate P1 LLS. - must of been a doctor..............
Just been cut up by an old Jag in Dorking with the number plate S4TAN ๐
Mate's dad has H20 DNA which is as tasteful as a private plate can get.
NEV1S owned by the owner of Glen Nevis
Was overtaken while out riding yesterday by a HUGE red Corevette (Prince, you cocked that one up sunshine!) with the plate B19 VET
Must be this thread that makes me notice them more
Milf in a sporty merc H15LOS raised a smile.
