one thing that Sky neglected to let me know (and the others don't mention) is that there is typically a 0.13p 'connection charge' when you first connect a call, for example a call to a mobile phone on Sky "unlimited/anytime plus" will cost as follows 0.13p + 0.1277p = 0.26p for the first minute, then 0.1277p per minute. If you make a lot of day time calls that rapidly stacks up.
The helpful Asian man I spoke with today suggested that no-one use landlines for calls unless you're 100% its free, he also told me that I actually have the right to cancel due to them not recording/deleting the initial call when I was lied to extensively by the Sky adviser to get me to 'sign up'. They've also failed to send me any T's&C's! I'd go with BT & BT Vision if I were you.
