Our new adopted dog, named Wallis (After Sir Barnes Wallis which I was allowed to choose)

He had to wear the cone as he has just had an eye op.

He is a Boxer Rottweiler cross about 5, but the centre had no previous details on him as he was abandoned.

If he is 50% boxer, he will be 50% daft as a brush.

He is quite daft and a little clumsy. Unbelievably soft, well natured and well behaved.

Thats no cone of shame, that a portable pillow, even I'm jealous!
Well done you for rehoming him, as most ppl would be too scared of the "R" in his breeding, enjoy.

Not only the breed, but he also has a couple of medical issues that have put people off, but the Dog Trust are amazing and have done a shared adoption where they help out with the medical fees.

Feeling rather lucky to have him and also mega pleased to offer him a nice home surrounded by woods with plenty of walks.

Once he has done with it Z1ppy, I shall post it on to you 😆

Well done on rehoming a dog..

Not a huge fan of whatever it is but he sure looks happy and I’m sure he’ll become your next best pal very very quickly.

Nice surprise and lucky woof woof.
🙂

What a handsome lad! Good on you for rehoming and not going to a "reputable" breeder like so many insist on doing..

Boxrot, sounds like some sort of affliction.

He slept right through the night, good as gold. Loved his little walk at 6:30 this morning. Off for a short river walk down at Otterton.

Awesome hound! Well done on adopting him. He's a handsome chap.

As an owner of a 50% rot I can confirm they rock and all the judgemental types can go #£&# themselves.

Yep, the boy has had em off. I think it was done fairly late on in his life.

He looks great- I grew up with a boxer in our family, so have a real soft spot for them.

I went out with a girl who's family had a Rottweiler crossed with a bull mastiff. He was a real brute, but soft as anything and a really lovely dog.

Rottweiler/boxer cross sounds lime a good combo.
