Myself and a mate are roadtripping out to the alps, with a week in Morzine amongst other places.

Anyone got any recommendations for places to stay in morzine. Ideally a shared chalet like Riders Retreat/Refuge style, but open to any suggestions. Ideally cheap ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers

We stayed in Riders retreat last year, and they were great. Hey have a sister property, Le Boomerang, in Les Gets, which is B and B and very good.

That does sound like a great place, but ideally looking for somewhere in morzine itself, closer to the lifts. ๐Ÿ™‚

And Supermorzine is your only lift this year, as Pleney is closed.

Try riders refuge in central morzine, opposite le'tale and 15 seconds from the pleny lift.

Food is great too!

Cheers Mrchrist, Refuge is a definite option.

Markyboy, stayed somewhere out on the road to montriond last year, it's definitely more than 5 minutes to SM lift on a dh bike ๐Ÿ˜›

Check out rideandslide. I stayed with them when I went skiing and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Lovely chalet, great food and hosts can't do enough for you.
