Flights are booked to Benidorm with 13 mates.
3 mates are 50 this year and we are going to Benidorm in October. Cycling (probably road bikes)is on the cards for the 5 days we are there.
I'd personally love to ride and chill in the evenings (family are letting me have a holiday). I'm not keen being dragged round pubs getting lashed too often if at all.
Any good places to stay? any good bike shops for hiring road bikes?
Not in Benidorm itself (why would you?) but not far away - we've stayed here a couple of times and it's great:

Not specifically bikey (they're climbers really) but very welcoming and in a great location for riding bikes.
The owners have great local knowledge and might be able to point you in the direction of hire etc.
