Doom holds a special place in my heart, when I worked in music shop we would link up gameboy advances at lunchtime and have a game, that and Mario kart were favorite. For nostalgia alone it's worth a play.
That's not the first Doom game.

Bet you get bored before you finish! I replayed a bit of doom 2 recently, full of nostalgia before realising it was a bit rubbish!
why not play the new 'un "Rage"
If your playing wolfie 3d, will you be playing 'return to castle wolfie'? That looked stunning in it's day, I remember this part on a cable car with gorgeous snow covered views, I looked over the edge and felt a bit of vertigo.

catflees i don't have return to castle wolfenstein unfortunately.but i do have wolfenstein
it is a good game (from what ltd playing of it i have done so far 🙂 i still think the original wolfenstein 3d and dooms are my favourites though 😉 p.s does anyone know how to get the music to play in wolfenstein 3d (am not using dosbox/don't know how to use it 😳 thanks 🙂
