Just enjoying a bottle of Badger - Golden Glory. It has a very distinctive peach flavour which shouldn't work but I find very good indeed.

Any other distinctively flavoured beers that shouldn't work but do?

Love that Banana Bread beer.

Seconded. That and Golden Glory are excellent.

I'm also a fan of Blandford Fly - the ginger kick works very well

Blandford Fly and Golden Glory could both turn me into an alchoholic, if I could afford it.

Speaking of seasonal beer, I tried the Wychwood - Bah Humbug Xmas Ale last week. Spiced cinnamon and dried fruits apparently. It had a pleasant enough taste but a strange plasticky aftertaste. Close but no cigar imo.

Edit - apologies for the xmas ref in mid November!

+1 Banana Bread

Also Saltaire Brewery's Raspberry Blonde and Triple Chocoholic were both more quaffable than I anticipated.

Stella.

It tastes the same where ever you buy it, only brewed from 4 ingredients, yet can raise a supercilious sneer from denizens of STW anywhere in the country.

I love beer but this is truly awful, smoked.

De Molen Rook & Vuur

There's a fair few craft beer or ale cocktails out there, can't remember them though funny enough.

Edit: here you go link, white beer with lemon and honey is pleasant, chocolate and porter too

Not a huge fan of Golden Glory, too much peach for my taste.

This was nice, though:

Hall and Woodhouse did one called Summer Days two years ago, which had a hint of Raspberry in it, which was rather pleasant indeed. I don't think I could have drunk many in a sitting, but just one was rather nice indeed.
I had a Fullers Christmas Ale from a few years back which had some sort of Cherry Flavouring in it, didn't work for me though.
