Just enjoying a bottle of Badger - Golden Glory. It has a very distinctive peach flavour which shouldn't work but I find very good indeed.
Any other distinctively flavoured beers that shouldn't work but do?
Buddy's Bourbon Flavoured Beer with a hint of Honey 5.1% - it's lush
Desperados
Love that Banana Bread beer.
Artois (the golden throat charmer)
Poacher's Choice for a more traditional suggestion.. Bloody lovely
Love that Banana Bread beer.
Seconded. That and Golden Glory are excellent.
I'm also a fan of Blandford Fly - the ginger kick works very well
I tried both those beers from Badger and they just tasted odd ! didnt suit my palate at all
Meantime over in Greenwich do some flavored Wheat Beers, some are really good... But I drink their Ale so I can't tell you which ones they are 😀
Ever since uni I've loved Fosters but am conscious most others think it's p**s.
It is ! tasteless piss at that .Try some of the nice lagers in Europe not the brewed under license stuff mainly flogged here
Blandford Fly and Golden Glory could both turn me into an alchoholic, if I could afford it.
Mmmmmm peachy beer, but in the summer though.
Speaking of seasonal beer, I tried the Wychwood - Bah Humbug Xmas Ale last week. Spiced cinnamon and dried fruits apparently. It had a pleasant enough taste but a strange plasticky aftertaste. Close but no cigar imo.
Edit - apologies for the xmas ref in mid November!
+1 Banana Bread
Also Saltaire Brewery's Raspberry Blonde and Triple Chocoholic were both more quaffable than I anticipated.
I can't stand those nice trendy lagers brewed in Europe.. Horrible gloopy ick
Mongozo Banana Beer is insanely bananery but tastes rather nice.
Bateman's Mocha Beer. Beautiful.
Stella.
It tastes the same where ever you buy it, only brewed from 4 ingredients, yet can raise a supercilious sneer from denizens of STW anywhere in the country.
magic rock dark arts vanilla stout is truly delicious.
I do love a cold Fosters
I love beer but this is truly awful, smoked.
De Molen Rook & Vuur
There's a fair few craft beer or ale cocktails out there, can't remember them though funny enough.
Edit: here you go link, white beer with lemon and honey is pleasant, chocolate and porter too

Erm... No it does not... Uk 4.8% now
Bourbon Beer and Vanilla Stout are on the "to try" list. 🙂
I can't stand those nice trendy lagers brewed in Europe.. Horrible gloopy ick
I dont think im on about the trendy stuff just traditional lager the way we brew traditional beer .Stuff with taste !
Oooh, Young's Plum Duff Christmas Ale. Only found it one Christmas, never since, but it was excellent. 🙂 but 🙁
Stonehenge Ales Sign of Spring.
Dark star espresso beer is tasty

Saltaire Raspberry Blonde is indeed very nice. I have one in the fridge chilling right now
Their Triple Chocoholic is also very nice.

Bleurrrrgh! Promised so much but didn't deliver for me, sorry (although it did make a nice birthday cake for my son 😛 ).
This on the other hand . . .
. . . is lovely!
Had a bottle of that buddys bourbon with honey last night. Was a lot nicer than I was expecting!
I had a bottle of womble's pittle thritch worbler the other night, bloomin luverly
Is that code? 😕
Hall and Woodhouse did one called Summer Days two years ago, which had a hint of Raspberry in it, which was rather pleasant indeed. I don't think I could have drunk many in a sitting, but just one was rather nice indeed.
I had a Fullers Christmas Ale from a few years back which had some sort of Cherry Flavouring in it, didn't work for me though.
