I'm not sure they've thought this through...

Well I'm tempted. So far I've only thought of 'FARTZ' but I lack imagination

£4.50 for a tin of beans?!?!??

I know that's £3 shipping, but still, £1.50 for a tin of beans!

(And I'm pretty sure they have thought it through, and the vast magority of buyers will be buying it with Fartz on...)

MOANZ would be my suggestion, as I don't like beans but could work for someone who really likes beans

I'm not sure they've thought this through...

Beanz Meanz Maffs, according to the title of some coursework I have a vague recollection of.

You can have FARTZ but you can't have TRUMPZ. I suspect they already have several containers of FARTZ beans ready to ship.

I wonder if its the same marketing person that used to work for Marmite?
An idea that is so unoriginal that they may as well as made a 'Keep Calm and Eat Beanz' poster.

Some prick gets paid for this crap.

Clever marketing.

Oh yeah, I'd never heard of Heinz Beans until now!

But you didn’t know about the link that you’ve just used.

Oh come on, the Marmite Gene Project advert is quite quite brilliant:

"I... I just prefer jam"

ORGAZMZ gets through both Heinz and STW swear filters it would appear.

Beans für me means German supermarket Edeka. Prefer them to Heinz. Not as sweet and about 1/3 the price of Heinz in Germany.

I don't dispute that, the TV add did make me chuckle.

I was referring to the fact that they offered personalised jars of marmite and Nutella already. I just find it amazing that they had a marketing meeting about this and no one pointed out that the idea is old. I guess it must have worked with an increase in sales of jars, or at least the same amount of units at an increased price.

Didn't Coke do it first?

I do like the Snickers take on it though:

[img] [/img]

The "There's a bar of Snickers with your name on it darling" gag was well worth the 45 minute stony silence afterwards 😆

I think that was in a similar vein to buying a key ring from a theme park where there were popular names on the shelf, rather than ordering one with your name on. I might be wrong.

Typing in two censored words breaks the censoring for the first

Also, why are words like 'nigerian' and 'islam' censored, yet 'english' and 'jew' aren't?

talking of swear words, I recently provided feedback on the Rated People website and the word Saturday didn't pass the swear filter because it contains a swear word.... Saturday. #truestory

I saw one of those Snickers for the first time at a dodgy roadside van establishment run by east Europeans - it only had one "stroppy" version visible & I assumed it must be some Polish knock off version - what a numpty 😳
