Hoping to have a beach fire tonight, are they illegal or only under specific circumstances?

Council has no rules available or listed so I am in ponder :S

Will it annoy anyone enough for someone to come down and tell you off?

Will it leave a shitty burnt area or will it be below the high water mark and therefore vanish?

If the answer is no to the first and yes to the second then why would it be a problem?

Hoping to do the same later this year, just be discrete.

Just make sure that the area is tidier than you found it when you leave and I'm sure that you'll be fine.

Oh, and be discrete.

We have them all time when we are down in Devon, always below the high water mark. Plenty of driftwood available and occasionally fresh fish.
