Finally managed to shoot one of the pesky grey squirrels that dig up our garden, does anyone know any good recipies, we're having a BBQ tommorrow and it might be a nice change from burgers and sausages, the wife isn't keen though!

id marinade the hell out of it tonight. Maybe some reggae reggae sauce.

Or a favourite of mine: 50:50 mix of HP sauce and Heinz ketchup.

Treat the bulk like chicken fillet and you're bang on.

Legs etc, cube and fry up lightly with some cream of mushroom soup and into vol-au vents etc "talking point hors d'oeuvres".

Do any of your guests look like this ?

If so I reckon your squirrel burgers could be a big hit.

Chopped chilli, ginger and garlic in a mix of soy and honey makes a very good marinade for squirrel.

I enjoy watching the squirrels in my back garden, much more pleasure in observing their ingenuity in defeating my attempts to put the bird's peanuts out of their reach than there is in killing the little ****ers.
