She wasn't as smooth a presenter as some others but did seem to have a wealth of knowledge.
I think Gillian has other commitments and will be back for 'Spring watch'.
Make the most of it. In 5 years time if the government gets its way winter watch will just be a link to the webcam at the Spittal of Glenshee with 5 minutes of adverts every 15 minutes.

Blue Peter for almost grown ups, fed up of being talked to like I'm a child. Strachan flies in from South Africa to do the shows, then tries to tell me how to do my bit to look after our wildlife - brilliant BBC!
Love a bit of Chris and the gang. Iolo was allegedly staying in hotel along from us last summer in grantown on spey with a group of birders. Didn’t see him in the coop though.
