Just saw this video - look at what happens at about 2:10 and tell me that's not really dangerous.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35281494

I'm minded to write a strongly worded letter.

Did they edit the "really dangerous" bit out?

Easily could've tripped and, say, turned his ankle quite badly

Must agree. That bus came along at a reasonable rate. If she'd swerved it could have been squashed person time.

Make sure you use capitals and exclamation marks OK!!!!

I dont believe the cyclist is legally compelled to pay any attention to the BBC bod whatsoever.

I'd say the bus driver passing the cyclist with very little room was more dangerous than Dale Winton mincing along beside the cyclist.

To be fair....it's London...

If someone comes running towards you and it ain't Marathon time.....get ready to flight or fight!!

Yes , very dangerous

Oh no, wait a minute, got caught up by your over reaction to absolutely nothing there for a minute. If you really have nothing better to do with your time then complain, or MTFU and get back to work

The guys a chump, and it was a daft thing to do, but it wasn't particularly dangerous. There are loads of distractions in London, if you ride a bike then it goes with the territory and you ignore them, hence why the cyclist didn't swerve and get squashed by the bus.

That bloke doing the interviewing's really irritating isn't he.
I think he might be dangerous, but possibly only to himself.

it was pointless, what did he really expect to happen? other than look like a berk.

but dangerous?

i'd be very happy with my commute if that counted as the 'dangerous' bit.

Yep, a bike lane that narrow encouraging a bus to pass too close to the cyclist is dangerous (I'm hesitant to come down too hard on the driver when he did exactly what the infrastructure encourages him to do). That was the point wasn't it?
