I didn't think this was going to be anything special, just colouring old photos, but the difference it makes to the connection with the Auschwitz girl photo is amazing (unless it's just me).

Not just you. Outstanding work.
I agree - the Auschwitz girl made me cry.
I wouldn't have expected the change from B&W to full colour to be so powerful but it is ๐ณ
My god... that Auschwitz girl is haunting.
Thanks for the link.

Moving stuff indeed.
A visit to the concentration camp at Dachua made me cry... lots.
amazing, thanks for the link.
"The Auschwitz girl" has a name - Czeslawa. I know no offence intended but even just calling her the Auschwitz girl here annoyed me somewhat - she was a person, as the commentary said with dreams, and friends and ambitions that were stolen from her - don't steal her name as well.
Lewis Powell - on the other hand - the hair, the jumper, even the name.... could be in a boy band!
You're right - so I'll correct myself...
The picture of Czeslawa made me cry ๐ฅ
Having seen recoloured stuff before I wasn't expecting it to be so good.
That's breathtaking work, it slaps you right in the face and makes it real, and somehow current. Very impressive.
Excellent, thanks for the link
