Just stumbled across this on the BBC website - www.bbc.co.uk/archive/empty_sets_collection/zfvy382

They've provided to use as backdrops for video calls.

Plenty of classics and great fun just to look through them.

Which apps support using backgrounds? Not sure I have ever noted that option.

Heh, you can have 'Welcome to Royston Vasey' ๐Ÿ™‚ My international colleagues might not get that!

You can get 'virtual webcams' that superimpose a backdrop and create a virtual device that any app can use.

Teams allows you to use your own background too though it is a little fiddly to set up...

I decided against Fawlty Towers, I'd have almost certainly been tempted to slip the 'No, you started it, you invaded Poland!' into a meeting with my German colleagues.
