I'll be about with a stag do on Friday night, it'll be a relatively quiet affair, certainly not a strip club but i'd say we're more bar rather than spit and sawdust type place.
Any recommendations?

The Harp just up from Trafalga Square towards Charing Cross.

Also near by is the Ship and Shovel.

Sadly, the American at the Savoy is no longer with us.

So, Gordon's.

The Marquis is a decent enough pub, opposite Charing Cross
Not Trafalgar Sq - nearer Victoria, Thomas Cubitt or The Orange

Thomas Cubitt or The Orange

Good Lord, no! Two of the worst in SW1.

Cubitt is full of hedgie asshats, and the beer is appalling, frequently off. The Orange used to be magnificent, when they brewed in the basement, but is now full of the worst sort of "Made in Chelsea" wannabes.

Akshewally - Good for pretentious arses, then! 😀
