Is throwing a banana skin out of the window of your car and into a bush bad?
I'm having a bit of a worrying time in my head as I'm completely against littering but not sure if this classes or not.
Biodegradable and I would only throw them into a bush not onto a pavement where a comedy clown may come along and slip on it.
Thoughts please.
Yes that's "bad-ish". They take along time to bio-degrade so throwing it into a bush is littering. Put it in the compost heap.
I will throw apple cores out of the car window into grass verges/bushes etc as they rot quickly or will get eaten by wee beasties.
Banana skins will always go home for the compost as they take longer to break down and nothing really eats them.
It's bad in my book - along with throwing anything away rather than taking it home. Biodegradable or not. If you can carry a "full" food item (e.g. banana) then I don't see why you can't carry home the "empty" item (e.g. banana skin) for disposal. What's more - you're in a car. Sheesh. Empty the door pockets if they're full.
