Today:

Driving home from town, 3 mile trip, car breaks down 300 yards into journey on a rad with no bus stops or other such places to push it to. Have to push it myself (with a bad back) starts up again no problems, conks out after 3 minutes, a bit more of that and get it into an industrial estate. Wait 3 and a half hours for an AA man, doesn't turn up (can't really blame him for that, the weathers atrocious) have to ditch the car and a wonderful local business owner gives me a lift home in his 4x4

Father-in-Law has a heart attack and is rushed to hospital, hopefully going to be OK, but the wife is distraught

Out with the dog, hear a crash, get back to the house jokingly thinking "oh, maybe the sun house has caved in" - The sun house has caved in

All that and i didn't even get a tenner on the lottery - on a bright side, no one was in the sun house when in caved in
