Interestingly had a range danger notice about .50 cal rifles and double round feeding causing breech explosions. Seems like they're a bit dangerous to the firer.

Stick to a .338.

Got a Remington .243 I'd be surprised if it wouldn't fit your needs unless you want to stop a car dead.

Are you sure that notice was for the AW?? I thought it was for the Krag & Jorgsson (sp??) ones?

If you want to be niche, go for the .408 Cheytac. Better long range terminal characteristics than the .50.

It's a general notice advising of a test to complete on .50 cal rifles that have a center fire percussion cap to ensure that loading a second round doesn't hit the rear of the percussion cap.

Sounds dangerous. Good job I only shoot .308 then.

Got a Remington .243

I've got a Remington with an adjustable blade to keep my beard tidy.

I hope you are more accurate with yours than I am with mine.

Does anyone remember Remington fuzz-aways?

Exec:"So, does it work?"
Test person: "No, Sir. No it doesn't."
Exec:"No matter. Sell it anyhow"

Same here, it also required quite a fast bike as I remember (after the bus window incident - things got a bit out of hand that one time). 😕

It's not a .50 but it'll do a good job in the right hands!
