Hi, I know avforums is probably a better place for this question, but I prefer this forum.

I may NEED a new amp, was looking for simmering like the Pionner SC 1223. Which was released around June last year. But it looks like it is already being faded out; Richer Sounds and Superficial both reporting last units or sold out. Is this likely, is our best to wait till June for new release opinions of anyone who owns a current range pioneer also greatly received.

Plenty of other suppliers to try, these guys were very helpful with me last week:

There are two, a Yamaha and an Onkyo, which go for the same amount of money. There might be a Sony, as well, but the other two, and I can't remember model types, consistently get 'Best of' reviews every year, usually swapping between them.

That's a nice looking Amp - things have moved on a little since I bought my Yamaha

Thank geforce and count, have been reading lots of reviews and there is a Sony that gets what HiFi amp of the year awards, but I'm not a Sony fan and try to avoid them. I have an Onkyo and it's been good, but the 626 doesn't appeal, also it is cutting out from time to time hence looking to change brand.

Artist, Pioneer stuff always looks lovely, and it's never too soon to upgrade 😉

I guess asking at seven oaks tomorrow would work too… still not sure how an 8 month old amp goes or of production.
