Looking at a new tv and the one we want is heavily reduced, last in stock but before messing up thought I would check...
Current setup is Media PC with DVI to Telly and Optical to Surround Sound AMP, Digi box coming in on S-Video.
New TV has 2x HDMI so PC and Digi Box (as backup/spare recorder) will come in on HDMI an the sound will go out on the Optical to the Surround Sound. HDMI carries 5.1 sound doesn't it....
