Whats happened to the summer, returned from 36 degrees of Majorcan sunshine to the British Autumn, or at least in North Wales.
So is the same eveywhere?

I believe it has something to do with the Earth's position vis-a-vis the Sun - it happens on a regular basis apparently.

And no, it doesn't affect everywhere the same.

I noticed the change this last week.

It smells like Autumn now, I've been thinking about charging up the lights for next week, there's leaves on the lawn and the shops are full of stationery for the when the school kids to go back to school.

I like this time of year.

I definitely agree about the smell of autumn being in the air. Still it suits me, because it means the nice dry winter weather isn't too far away either;-)

What is there to like about short days ? 😯

I find this time of year truly depressing - not long now before it's dark when you get up, and dark when you return from work 🙁

At least in summer you can spend the evenings as would the week-ends.

hate this time of year the bloody weather cant make its mind up and it means you cant plan anything

at least in winter if its dry and cold you can get out riding with some heavy base layers on but past few rides have just been mud slogs!!! takes all the fun out of riding and kills the bies!!

the fact that if you don't do your best to like them you're gonna be miserable for half the year?

there's enough shite to be miserable about without worrying about the stuff you can't change - at least off-road lights allow for night riding fun....and it is great being out in the dark when everyone else is wasting their lives in front of eastenders

Too bleedin right I am ..... in fact suicidal is what I become. Sometimes I just feel like a grizzly bear what should be hibernating. I need sunshine ❗

At least in summer you have a choice whether or not you go on a night ride. Personally I like coming home, forgetting about work, going for a ride in the sunshine and pretending it's the week-end, and after a few hours when you're sweaty and tired, you gently cool down on the way home as the evening draws in ........ wtf I'm doing living in this country, I'll never know 😯
