At least two people were killed when a car crashed into the crowd at a parade involving Queen Beatrix and the Dutch royal family, reports say.Dutch police told the BBC it appeared to have been a deliberate attack. No members of the royal family were hurt.
Unconfirmed reports said the black Suzuki injured 14 people. It crashed into a monument, narrowly missing an open bus carrying the royals.

People underestimate the damage a human causes to a car when hit fast enough! That beating could easily have come from the 14 people he hit at speed.
It's reported in the dutch media that there are 2 confirmed deaths & perhaps as many as 4.
The driver had apparently tried to breach security at another location but had been stopped....
To reach the bus he had to drive through some barriers & people at speed hence the damage to the car.
Just plain mental.

Yup they are designed to crumple to help reduce damage but it does look like it also hit something else first.
