I think I may have poisoned myself one day before a heavy weekend! I have never had D and V like this ever! wouldn't wish it up on my worst enemy!

no point to the thread, just wanted to share my misery. 😕

I had gastroenteritis a couple of years ago which was quite amusing, it all became a bit of a guessing game and lottery. Movement in the stomach meant that I had to head to the bathroom, but when I got there I had to gamble as to assume the sitting postion or throw my head down the bowl. Luckily there were no accidents.
Get yourself some warm (room temp, not chilled) and flat Coca Cola to drink when you're ready to face it.

Healing vibes.

Condolences. There have been moments when I've been eternally grateful for the fact that my wash basin and throne face each other.

Bum gravy

Fizzy bum gravy after the bottle has been shaken.

Don't try to stop it with anti-diarrhoea stuff though - the quicker you purge your body of the offending substance, through diarrhoea and vomiting, the quicker you will recover.

Ohhh horrid.

Keep your fluids up. Get a full kettle boiled and let it go cold (room Temp) Keep sipping on that.

I found once better(ish) Sports drinks helped recovery a lot.

I feel your pain.

I woke up at 3;30am on Wednesday with D & V and it took about 36 hours to pass through me. Not nice.

Several years ago, I had acute pancreatitis (side effect of mega steroid doses*). I remember being sat on the sofa and vomming so hard I hit the opposite wall 12 feet away. Now that is projectile stuff !

*prescription prednisolone
