Seven minutes! Crime of the century.

Tell him the clock was wrong on your Garmin.

So was this a 1 off? It isn't unknown to use stuff like Strava to look at people's timekeeping, but you would normally need a reason to look.....

Use one of those GPX editors to edit it and tell him he must have dreamt it.

Pah, bollox!!

I used to run at a huge deficit in flex time, so to make some back up I started coming in to work at 7, swiping in then going back to bed for a bit. It came on top in the end, I didn't get fired, surprisingly.

And no, by my own admission, I'm probably not the best employee!!!

I started coming in to work at 7, swiping in then going back to bed for a bit

So you came in to work, went home then went back to bed? Did you rock up in your jimjams with bed hair to clock in or did you get ready for work?

+1

If it was my boss I'd ask him if he'll ask me the same question when he asked me to do something that made me work after my normal clock off time. In fact, work seven minutes late and tag him in tonights so he sees it! Job done.

I had some boss who insisted I work late one eve because my ferry had been cancelled, so I was half an hour late that morning.
The fact that I'd worked late the previous evening (about an hour, unpaid) didn't seem to count for anything.
Guess what, no more working late for me.

7 minutes?! Next time he goes to the bog, get a stopwatch out and then give him a lecture on how much his toilet habits are costing the company.

Correct me if I'm wrong but surely the time on GPS device must be accurate, otherwise it wouldn't work very well.

I thought it was just your boss taking the piss a bit.
