Anyone use any? Have some experience with bitcoin but that was through an old website. Looking for an app to do a bit more but there's so many out there so its hard to know what to trust. Also some wont deal with the UK.

Kraken

I use it - seems the most respected and there’s a supposed tie-in with PayPal coming soon.

Coinbase is the main one. I've used Kraken too.

I've been using Kraken for a while and found it pretty good. Their customer service team have been really helpful too which I found reassuring.

There's 2 apps. Kraken and Kraken Pro. Same company.

Kraken is simpler to use but has limited features.

Kraken Pro is a bit more involved but has more (useful) features.

Standard Kraken has higher fees per transaction so if you've got half an idea of what you're doing, I'd go for Pro if you planning to trade. If you just want to buy occasionally then the higher fees might not be such an issue.

The pro website has more features than the app too. Trailing stop loss being one.

Coinbase is pretty simple to use and will talk to my UK bank (NatWest) unlike Binance, I can't transfer money straight into that. That was the main concern for me, I've got a standing order set up to buy little and often.

I'm not trading though, just buying little bit regularly and sitting on it to see what happens so I'm not too fussed about fancy features.
