I am a fundraiser for a charity & just received a cheque from a local couple who've left us £25k in their will.
I'm in the process of writing literature and promotional material about legacies and leaving money in your will.
Its a very sensitive subject but one I have to tackle and was interested in feedback from anyone as to your thoughts on what would be an appropriate (non direct) approach from a local charity.
What would make you leave a charity money in your will basically? Would it be a direct interaction i.e. they'd personally helped you or a family member etc.
Thanks
